Sony Xperia XA1, Xperia XA1 Plus, and Xperia XA1 Ultra devices are starting to receive updates to Android 8.0, according to reports.
Softpedia reported that the latest Android update for the smartphones also include the February 2018 Android Security Patch.
The new features packed into Android 8.0 include:
  • Picture-in-picture – Users can access two apps at the same time on one screen.
  • Notification dots – Users can see what is new in their apps from the homescreen, and then take action.
  • Google Play Protect – A built-in security feature which employs tighter app install controls.
  • Autofill – Remembers login details, with a user’s permission, and fills in stored details in apps and forms.
