TRICKS OF THE TRADE People are trading in their iPhones in droves to buy a Samsung Galaxy S9
SAMSUNG'S new flagship is driving gadget lovers to flog their iPhones in favour of the latest tech.
Apple's £999 iPhone X may only be four months old, but that that hasn't stopped gizmo fans from dumping it for the fresh Galaxy S9, according to new data.
There's been a whopping 184 per cent increase in iPhone X trade-ins since Samsung unveiled its new headliner in late February, claims online trade-in store MusicMagpie.
And overall smartphone trade-ins have witnessed a 120 per cent spike since the Galaxy S9 arrived.
Samsung's latest flagship comes in two sizes: there's the £739 Galaxy S9, which packs a 5.8-inch screen, and the £869 Galaxy S9+, with a 6.2-inch screen.
